Store owners form fashion coalition
From the Coloradoan
Avriel Agnello, owner of Biyazzi in south Fort Collins, wanted to help charities and support fellow boutique owners.
That's when Agnello started the "All Dressed Up and Somewhere to Go" events, a series of fashion shows and fundraisers that take place at different restaurants and support different area charities.
"The idea was to create a cooperative venture in which each of us supports the other. Each boutique offers a unique style and when combined, offers women in Fort Collins the shopping experience they are leaving town and seeking in the Denver malls," Agnello said.
So far Biyazzi, Designs, Sole Mates, Satin Camisole and Tula have put on three shows. The most recent show on June 16 at Cafe Vino featured Kaitlyn Thomas of KaiT Designs and raised money for The MacDonald Family Charity.
Previous shows raised money for Pathways Hospice and Junior Achievement. The group is planning future show.
Hostess Parties
...put the fun back into fundraisers!
Best described as generous to a fault, Biyazzi is
thrilled to support many local charities. Donating silent auction items
and new wardrobes to benefit women of various circumstances has become
an integral function of our store. We look for ways to support causes
near and dear to our customers. If you have such a cause consider a
hostess party here at Biyazzi. We will close our doors and host a
shopping party for your supporters. The more they shop the more your
charity will benefit. 10% of that party's earnings will be donated to
your charity. Biyazzi will provide food and drink and a fun atmosphere
for your private fundraiser. Contact us soon for further information.
